2nd Seed : Arkansas Razorbacks

The Arkansas Razorbacks have been one of the most exciting teams to watch this season. They were ranked number one in the country, but a series loss against Kentucky dropped them. The Razorbacks finished the regular season with a 43-12 record, with a 20-10 conference record.

Arkansas has one of the best pitchings staffs in the entire country. It is headlined by star pitcher, Hagen Smith. This season, Smith has a 9-0 record with a 1.52 earned run average in 77 innings pitched and has struck out 150 batters.

Another star pitcher in the Razorback rotation is Brady Tygart. This season, Tygart has a 4-3 record with an earned run average of 3.86 in 58.1 innings pitched and has struck out 68 batters.

Offensively, the Razorbacks struggle, but Peyton Stovall has led the team. This season, Stovall has a .339 batting average with nine home runs and 37 runs batted in. He also has an OPS of .952, which includes an on-base percentage of .404 and a slugging percentage of .548.

The pitching is going to be dominant, but if the offense can get hot, the Razorbacks will be a tough team to beat.

Arkansas earned a first round bye and they will wait to play the winner of the Alabama and South Carolina game.

1st Seed : Tennessee Volunteers

The Tennessee Volunteers are the number one ranked team in the country and are the one seed for the SEC Tournament. This season has been big for the program as they have set multiple records. The Volunteers finished the regular season with a record of 46-10, with a 22-8 conference record.

Tennessee has everything they need to win the tournament. Their pitching is great and their offense is even better. They have so many draft prospects and they have all played an important role in getting Tennessee to this spot.

Christian Moore has led the Volunteers this season on offense. Through 55 games, Moore has a .388 batting average with 27 home runs and 60 runs batted in. He also has an OPS of 1.262, which includes an on-base percentage of .454 and a slugging percentage of .808.

Drew Beam has been the best starting pitcher in the Tennessee rotation. This season, Beam has an 8-2 record with a 3.59 earned run average in 80.1 innings pitched and has struck out 71 batters.

Tennessee will be very tough to beat if they continue to hit like they have all season and have solid outings from their pitchers.

Tennessee earned a first round bye and they will wait to play the winner of the Vanderbilt and Florida game.
