Spring Practice Stand Outs to Watch for in Saturday Spring Games Across the SEC

Spring time is upon us, which means the college football technically starts with a full round of spring games this Saturday. In this article, I identify some players for several SEC teams that have gotten alot of talk early in spring practice that could be good to keep your eyes on on Saturday and in 2024.

QB, Austin Simmons (Ole Miss)

All reports out of Oxford are that two-sport athlete Austin Simmons looks the part, and not just on the baseball field for the Rebels.

Simmons appears to really be pushing Walker Howard for the number two spot on the depth charter at the quarterback position, which would put him first in line to replace Jaxson Dart in 2025.
