These SEC Quarterbacks are Among the Best in 2024

Some of the best quarterbacks in the country play in the SEC.

Jaxon Dart (Ole Miss Rebels)

Jaxon Dart heads into his third season in Oxford as the starting quarterback. Dart threw for 3,364 yards, 23 touchdowns, and five INTs, and completed 65% of his passes. In addition, Dart added eight rushing touchdowns. In three games, Dart completed 70% or better of his passes.

Dart recorded five games of over 300 yards passing, with a season-high 389 yards and four touchdowns in a 55-49 win over LSU. In six games last season, Dart threw two or more touchdown passes, and over the final five games of the season Dart threw nine touchdowns and only one INT.

Ole Miss hosts Furman on Saturday, August 31.

Carson Beck (Georgia Bulldogs)

A 2nd-Team All-SEC selection in 2023, Carson Beck is coming off a 60-point destruction of Florida State in the Orange Bowl. Beck totaled 3,941 passing yards, 24 touchdowns, and only six INTs (in 417 pass attempts), and completed 72% of his passes. Beck posted five games of over 300 yards passing, including 389 yards and four TDs in a 51-13 win over Kentucky. In eight games, Beck threw multiple touchdowns passes and threw at least one TD pass in nine straight games.
