Several more things went down in the transfer portal in the SEC on Monday, May 6th, and so here is my SEC basketball transfer portal roundup.

Adou Thiero follows Calipari to Arkansas

Arkansas has added another transfer from Kentucky in Adou Thiero. Thiero averaged 7.2 PPG and 5 RPG this past season on 49.2% shooting. Thiero is regarded as a strong defender, and his familiarity with Calipari should help his role at Arkansas. Thiero is a former four-star recruit in the class of 2022. In his Freshman season in 2022/23, he averaged 2.3 PPG and 1.9 RPG across 20 games.

247 ranks Thiero as the No. 31 ranked transfer in the class, while On3 ranks him at No. 60. Arkansas has now added four top 60 players in the portal according to both 247 and On3 with Thiero joining Johnell Davis, Jonas Aidoo, and Zvonimir Ivisic.

Auburn makes Top 3 for UTSA transfer Jordan Ivy-Curry

Auburn continues to be connected to several of the top transfers available. They most recently made the top 3 for UTSA transfer guard Jordan Ivy-Curry. Ivy-Curry averaged 17.1 PPG, 5.2 RPG, and 3 APG this past season on 40.1% shooting and 38.7% 3-point shooting for the Roadrunners. Auburn is joined by Wake Forest and UCF in the top 3.

Three SEC schools in Top 5 for Michigan State transfer A.J. Hoggard

Michigan State transfer point guard A.J. Hoggard released his top 5, which includes three SEC schools (Florida, Georgia, and Vanderbilt). Hoggard averaged 10.7 PPG, 3.1 RPG, and 5.2 APG this past season on 40.7% shooting. Those three SEC schools are joined by USC and Washington in the top 5.

Three SEC schools in Top 4 for Duke transfer Christian Reeves

7'1, 245-pound Duke transfer center Christian Reeves has named his top four, and it features three SEC schools in Florida, Oklahoma, and Vanderbilt. Reeves only played in 3 games this past season due to injury. He averaged 1.7 PPG and 1.7 RPG in those games. Florida, OU, and Vandy are joined by Clemson in the top 4.

Several SEC players leaving the SEC announced their transfer destinations yesterday:
