Ben Hess: Right Handed Pitcher: Alabama

The Alabama Crimson Tide are returning a top right hander in the Southeastern Conference. Ben Hess is a junior right hander who is ranked as the 45th best prospect according to MLB Pipeline.

Hess has a very talented arm, but has dealt with multiple injuries. Last year, Hess posted a 3.22 earned run average in 36.1 innings pitched with 49 strikeouts. He also had an insane 0.99 WHIP.

Hess's scouting grades are; Fastball: 60, Curveball: 50, Slider: 60, Changeup: 55, Control: 55, Overall: 50.

Overall, the Southeastern Conference is loaded with pitching this season. Hagen Smith, Drew Beam, and Ben Hess are the three best in the conference and should all hear their names be called this summer in the Major League Draft.
