Braden Montgomery : Texas A&M

The Texas A&M Aggies were very active in the transfer portal last offseason as they picked up the highest ranked recruit in the portal. Braden Montgomery transferred from Stanford and is one of the best hitters in the country.

Montgomery is the tenth ranked prospect for this years Major League Draft, according to MLB Pipeline. This season, he has built upon his draft stock as he has a batting average of .381 with 16 home runs and 47 runs batted in. He also has an OPS of 1.448, which includes an on-base percentage of .515 and a slugging percentage of .933.

Montgomery has 40 total hits, eight doubles, and one triple. He also has 26 walks and three stolen bases.

Montgomery is ranked second in division one baseball in home runs, first in runs batted in, and fifth in slugging percentage.
