The Florida Gators have a two-way prospect that has been an amazing hitter and pitcher this season. According to MLB Pipeline, Caglianone is the fifth best prospect for this years Major Leauge Draft.
Caglianone has been exciting to watch as he puts up numbers at the plate and on the mound. In six starts this season, Caglianone has a 3-0 record with an earned run average of 2.18 in 33 innings pitched and has struck out 44 batters.
He also has a strikeouts per nine innings of 12 and a WHIP of 1.12. Caglianone could be the first overall pick this summer with these numbers.
Caglianone is ranked 37th in division one baseball for earned run average.
