Altee Tenpenny (Running Back)

Tenpenny was quite the recruit in the class of 2013 ranking 66th nationally and the number one recruit out of the state of Arkansas. After spending two seasons with the Tide and rushing for only 218 yards, Tenpenny announced he was transferring to UNLV.

He would tragically pass away in a car accident in October of that year. Tenpenny was close with former Alabama Heisman Trophy winning running back, Derrick Henry who would change his number to 22 when he was drafted by the Tennessee Titans to honor his close friend and fallen teammate.

Alvin Kamara (Running Back)

This is probably the most famous name on the list. Kamara came into Alabama as the number two running back nationally according to On3, second to only Derrick Henry who committed that same year to the Tide.

With Kamara seeing Henry ahead of him early on the depth chart, he transferred to Tennessee for his sophomore and junior seasons running for 1,294 yards and 16 touchdowns. He would catch another 683 yards through the air with another seven touchdowns on top of that as well for the Vols.

Kamara would go on to be drafted in 2017 by the New Orleans Saints in the second round where he has been since. He has run for over 5,000 yards in his NFL career and made the Pro Bowl in his first five seasons.
