Ole Miss vs. Arkansas, 2001 – The 47,464 at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi got their money’s worth that day regardless of side as they were spectators to a six-overtime thriller that ended with the Arkansas Razorbacks defeating the Ole Miss Rebels 58-56.

Rebels quarterback, Eli Manning would miss a two point conversion pass to Doug Zeigler giving the Hogs the victory.

Watching this contest it was apparent that players on both sides were severely fatigued. Linemen appeared to be leaning on each other just to stay upright with little to no push as the overtimes progressed.

Key players for the Ole Miss Rebels in the game included Eli Manning, Joe Gunn and Jason Armstead.

Key players for the Arkansas Razorbacks in the game included  Matt Jones, Cedric Cobbs, Fred Talley and Carlos Hall.
