Dansby Swanson

Dansby Swanson is another big name from the Commodores in 2014. In that season, Swanson had a batting average of .333 with three home runs and 34 runs batted in. He also had an OPS of .886, which included an on-base percentage of .411 and a slugging percentage of .475.

Swanson ended up having an even better season in 2015, which resulted in the Arizona Diamondbacks selecting him first overall in the 2015 Major League Draft.

Swanson was traded to the Atlanta Braves in December of 2015 and that is where his career began. The very next season, Swanson made his Major League debut and has stayed in the MLB ever since.

He played in Atlanta for seven seasons before signing a contract with the Chicago Cubs. In 2023, Swanson signed a seven year contract worth $177 million. Swanson is a World Series Champion, a two time Gold Glove winner, and a two time All Star.
