Jason Delay

Jason Delay was the last of these hitters to make it the Major Leagues. In that 2014 season, Delay had a .246 batting average with nine doubles and 13 runs batted in. He also had an OPS of .699, which included an on-base percentage of .374 and a slugging percentage of .325.

Delay improved in his next few seasons with Vanderbilt. This resulted in Delay being drafted in the fourth round of the 2017 Major League Draft by the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Delay played in the Pirates minor leagues for five years before making his Major League debut in 2022. He has bounced from the Majors to Minors in his short major league career.
