Week 5 was in the Southeastern Conference was full of upsets, ranking jumps (up and down) and all out demolition for a few SEC squads. In what was a surprising weekend for some fans, others saw their worst nightmares come true.

Ole Miss fans saw their undefeated season go up in smoke in the Swamp, Mississippi State finally played a real opponent and Arkansas finally backed up a little bit of their smack talk.

All the while quietly Auburn, Vanderbilt and Kentucky all fought to get back on the right foot heading into the heart of SEC football competition. Missouri also rebounded in Week 5, setting up a battle atop the SEC East in Week 6 against the Gators.
