As the regular season nears the final minutes of SEC football, teams from the Southeastern Conference still had everything to play for in week 12.

Yes, some teams played schools that they dished out over a million dollars to in order to play them at home for an easy “W” near the end of the season.  But some SEC teams couldn’t even handle those “lesser” opponents.

The buzz after week 12 circled around how LSU had a major fall from grace after getting blown out the last three weeks. Coach Les Miles’ job seems to be on the line and instead of talking about Leonard Fournette, the Tigers star running back, everyone is focused on when and if Miles will get the boot.

As for the SEC title game, Ole Miss kept their chances alive after destroying the Bayou Bengals on Saturday.  There is one minor flaw in that plan, however.

But before we look ahead to rivalry week and the final games of the season for most college football teams, let’s look at week 12’s top performers from the SEC.
