  • Editor Chris Hill: Kenyan Drake

Our two Alabama site editors were split on their possible MVP choices, but either of them could possibly be the guy the Crimson Tide must lean on in 2015. Both Derrick Henry and Kenyan Drake could be players who help carry the Tide back to yet another playoff berth.

Henry is going to have to shoulder a huge load with the departure of both Amari Cooper and T.J. Yeldon, but as we’ve seen in past seasons with Alabama, its generally been the next man up at the running back position.

Another running back, Kenyan Drake, has a lot to come back from after having his leg gruesomely snapped against Ole Miss. If there’s a guy with the heart and the reason to want to help carry this team, it’s definitely Drake.
