The 2015 NCAA Tournament has an SEC team in the Elite 8, as the Kentucky Wildcats absolutely wiped the court with West Virginia, 78-39.

It didn’t take long for Kentucky (37-0) to make West Virginia freshman Daxter Miles regret his statements about the Wildcats not playing hard. West Virginia was down 18-2 to the undefeated Cats, and it was all over from that point on.
The Wildcats kicked it into high gear and played physical ball at both ends of the court, and showed just why they have barely been challenged this season.
And no, they can’t beat an NBA team, so let’s not even try that discussion…but they can beat any NCAA team put in front of them, and probably will moving forward. The size, the speed and the pure skill of this team alone is enough to win a championship. When you add in their ability to mesh as a team and seemingly read each other’s minds, they become unstoppable.

West Virginia (as I predicted) was embarrassingly out-manned by Kentucky, and they had no answers for anything the Wildcats threw at them.
Coming up next for the 37-0 Cats will be a meeting with No. 3 seed Notre Dame, who knocked off Wichita State, 81-70. The Irish will probably find themselves in a similar situation as West Virgina, although they are a better shooting team.
The SEC still alive and well, and Kentucky will try for 38-0 to make yet another Final Four.
