Shocked? You shouldn’t be. Herbstreit has been accused for years of being an SEC homer by fans of other conferences (see Big Ten) . Some of that hate may have died down because of Ohio State’s win this past year, but if you read Herbie’s Twitter feed, you’d  understand what I’m talking about.  Herbstreit is one the most knowledgeable figure in college football today and he does not make any apologies when it comes to him liking SEC football. Further evidence that Herbie is a big fan of the SEC, he and his family moved to Nashville a few years ago from his college town of Columbus, Ohio. Now some may say that doesn’t mean anything, tell that to fans of the other big conferences.
