Jones is just the person Auburn needs to step up into a leadership role in 2015. Jones is returning to the field after undergoing a minor procedure on his foot during the offseason.
He brought in six interceptions and tallied 11 pass deflections in 2014 while amassing 36 tackles for the Tigers defense.
Under new defensive coordinator Will Muschamp, look for Jones to be a household name by the end of 2015. Jones will definitely replicate his numbers from a year ago, but I believe he has what it takes to be one of best defensive players in the conference in 2015. His biggest challenge will be making an impact against solid SEC West opponents.
