If you had to separate these guys solely on aspects of their games that give one or the other an upper hand, Morgan’s advantage is experience.

2015 will be Morgan’s fourth year as the starting place-kicker at Georgia and he has already set a few records.

In 2014, Morgan went 16-of-21 on field goal attempts and set a school record with 67 point after attempts made.

Sure he wasn’t called on often to put points on the board, but isn’t that what you want on a team looking to contend for a title? A guy that will come out after every offensive possession and tack on one extra point forcing opponents further onto their heels.

Morgan might not put up the best numbers this year, and therefore I think he won’t win the Lou Groza award, but he will be an influential part of Georgia’s team this year, especially if they are as good as people are predicting them to be.
