Laquon Treadwell’s injury against Auburn last year changed the entire feel around the Ole Miss program in 2015. Suddenly the passing game was not so dangerous and the Rebels came out flat in their next SEC game, a 30-0 drubbing by an Arkansas team fighting for bowl eligibility. That is what can happen when a team loses one of their most important players. Even if a team has considerable depth at a position, like Ole Miss does at wide receiver, losing your top guy has a ripple effect that can be difficult to overcome.
