Week 13 – Away @ LSU, Tiger Stadium Baton Rouge, Louisiana
There are three major issues for the Aggies in the final week of the regular season — (1) they are trying to become bowl eligible and not have a losing record in 2015, but (2) they are travelling to Death Valley – one of the hardest places to win in the country for road teams – and (3) their opponents already know how the Aggies’ defense will operate.
The Aggies’ defensive coordinator, John Chavis, was hired by Sumlin during the offseason away from their SEC West rival in an effort to help a defense that has been ranked towards the bottom of the SEC since he took over the program.
The media selected the Aggies to finish sixth in the SEC West in 2015, the same result as last season, and I would have to agree. The only team the Aggies will do better than will be Mississippi State.
LSU will be able to win by two scores against the Aggies in the final week of the season and spoil any hope of viewing the season as a success for folks in College Station.
Record after week 13: 5-7
