At Bank of America Stadium, it’s South Carolina-North Carolina. A rivalry that we haven’t seen enough of, long running historic roots are embedded in this clash. The former ACC rivals have met 53 times dating back to 1903.
Powder Blue leads the series 34-18-1, but the men in Garnet and Black have provided the spur in the last two meetings, scoring victories in 2007 (21-15 in Chapel Hill) and 2013 (27-10 in Columbia).
In hopes of a good spirited and exciting football season, Southbound and Down previews and predicts the season’s first match up.
