Wednesday November 11, 2015 marked signing day for College Baseball. Listed below are the national rankings for all SEC teams, along with a few notes on each school’s signing class. While expecting every prospects to show up on campus is certainly impossible, it will definitely be something to revisit in a year once it’s known which prospects ultimately end up opting for the Major League draft.
The classes will be listed in order and national rankings will be given in parentheses. Rankings are based on PerfectGame.org
SEC Baseball Signing Classes
(2) Vanderbilt Commodores

The Vanderbilt Commodores lead the SEC with the number 2 ranked class in the nation. Vanderbilt’s class consists of 16 high school prospects, 4 top 100 prospects, and 3 in-state prospects.
(3) South Carolina Gamecocks
South Carolina follows Vanderbilt in the national rankings and conference rankings by one spot. South Carolina’s class consists of 18 high school prospects, 5 top 100 prospects, and 7 in-state prospects.
(5) Louisiana State Tigers
LSU’s class checks in at number 3 in the conference rankings. LSU’s class is made up of 17 high school prospects, 5 top 100 prospects, and 9 prospects from the Pelican State.
(7) Arkansas Razorbacks
Arkansas’s class follows immediately behind LSU’s in the national and conference rankings. Arkansas’ class consists of 18 high school prospects, 5 top 100 prospects, and only 3 prospects from inside its borders.
(9) Mississippi Rebels
Ole Miss’s class checks in at number 9 nationally and is the final SEC program in the Perfect Game top 10. The Rebels’ class consists of 16 high school prospects, 5 top 100 prospects, and 7 Mississippi prospects. Sidenote: 3 prospects are true local talent by way of Oxford, MS.
(11) Kentucky Wildcats
Bluegrass Nation is represented well in the 11 spot nationally. Kentucky’s class consists of 13 high school prospects, 3 top 100 prospects, and only 3 prospects from the Bluegrass State.
(12) Mississippi State Bulldogs
The Bulldogs signed a slightly smaller class than normal, but it certainly packs a punch. Mississippi State’s class is made up of 11 high school prospects, 4 top 100 prospects, and 4 Magnolia State prospects.
(14) Florida Gators

Like the Bulldogs above, the Gators signed a slightly smaller than average class. Florida’s class consists of 11 high school prospects, 1 top 100 prospect, and 9 Sunshine State prospects. The homegrown talent in Florida is strong.
(15) Georgia Bulldogs
Georgia comes in right behind divisional rival Florida. The Bulldog’s class consists of 13 high school prospects, 4 top 100 prospects, and 12 Peach State prospects. The state of Georgia is strong with homegrown talent. The one out of state prospects hails from the Pacific Coast in California.
(16) Tennessee Volunteers
Tennessee rounds out a three way Eastern Division segment in the top 25. Tennessee’s class consists of 16 high school prospects, 2 top 100 prospects, and 7 instate prospects.
(23) Texas A&M Aggies
Texas A&M is the last SEC team ranked in the Perfect Game top 25. Texas A&M’s class is made up of 12 highschool prospects, 1 top 100 prospect, and a resounding 10 Lone Star State prospects. Clearly, the state of Texas loves baseball almost as much as it does football.
(40) Auburn Tigers
Auburn’s class checks in at number 40 in the Perfect Game top 25. The Tigers’ class consist of 10 highschool prospects, 1 top 100 prospect, and only 2 instate prospects.
(61) Missouri Tigers
Betsided
Missouri’s class consists of 9 highschool prospects, 0 top 100 prospects, and a surprising 4 prospects from the “Show Me” State.
(69) Alabama Crimson Tide
Alabama finishes out the SEC at a disappointing 69th place in Perfect Game’s rankings. Alabama’s class is made up of 10 highschool prospects, 0 top 100 prospects, and 5 instate prospects.
