Mississippi State:  Maroon-White Game

Sat. April 16, noon

ESPNU

2015 Attendance:  21,500

Has anybody seen a worse offseason than Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen?  I can’t think of a single thing that has been a positive this offseason.  Jeffery Simmons, a highly touted 5-star recruit, was caught beating a woman in the street on video.  Somehow, he is still on the team.  Thursday marked their 4th wide receiver lost as Fred Brown was dismissed from the team.

As if that wasn’t enough to keep Dan Mullen up at night, he’s got to be worried with replacing Dak Prescott.  After Tebow, I’m sure Dan Mullen realized how important good quarterback play.  He was blessed with having the services of Dak Prescott, but will anybody on the roster be able to run the quarterback position in an even comparable fashion as Dak?  I doubt it, but again, quarterback is the focus on this spring game.
