Class Of 2018 Recruit George Takacs Interview
Last night I sat down with newly offered Florida prospect George Takacs. I asked him a few questions and here is what he had to say.
Florida held their Next Level QB camp Thursday. One of the top recruits in attendance was 3-Star Class of 2018 Tight End Georga Takacs. Takacs is 6-6, 230 pounds from Naples, FL and attends Gulf Coast HS. I had a chance to sit down with him and ask him a few questions.
Nick Gonzalez, Southbound And Down: First things first, I’d like to congratulate you on your offer from the Gators!
Nick Gonzalez, Southbound And Down: I am a columnist for @FanSided’s @southbounddown and wanted to know if you could answer a few questions?
George Takacs: Yea no problem.

Nick Gonzalez, Southbound And Down: I know this is now your 8th offer, but what does it mean to you to receive one from a school as prestigious as Florida?
George Takacs: It’s really exciting to get an opportunity like this.
Nick Gonzalez, Southbound And Down: I bet! I know it’s still early on in your recruiting process, but are the Gators now a serious contender for your talents? Could you see yourself in Gainesville come the summer of 2018?
George Takacs: Of course, anytime a school like Florida offers it would be impossible not to consider them.
Nick Gonzalez, Southbound And Down: Without a doubt. Just a few more. Schematically, how do you see yourself fitting into Coach Mac and Nuss’s system?
George Takacs: I don’t know a whole lot about their system so I can’t really answer that
Nick Gonzalez, Southbound And Down: Okay, no problem. Last question. Are you garnering or receiving interest from any other SEC schools?
George Takacs: Not really any other SEC schools but I’m sure that will change after this.
Nick Gonzalez, Southbound And Down: I like the attitude! Keep up the good work. Thank you for your time!

Takacs seems to be a well-rounded kid and versatile in the sports world. George is a two-sports athlete, but his main highlight is football. The tight end currently has 8 standing offers and is expecting more shortly after his recent performance. You can check out his tape below, courtesy of HUDL.
