The Florida Gators recruiting process is finally starting to pick up. So how is their big board looking? Who could possibly be joining the Orange and Blue soon?

The Gators board just keeps growing and growing. It seems like every week they enter the role as one of the top 3 schools a recruit is looking at. With so many possible players becoming targets for Florida, who should Florida Gator fans keep an eye on?

3-Star Class Of 2017 CB Shawn Davis

The 6 foot CB out of Miami-Southridge, FL is ready to commit to the Florida Gators, he just wants to hold off until August. The DB has shown Florida huge amounts of love throughout his process and constantly seen decked out in Orange and Blue. Barring a major change of heart, Davis will be a Gator.

More from Florida Gators

4-Star Class Of 2017 CB Brad Stewart

The Louisiana DB named his top 5 last week. He stated “Florida, Alabama, Ole Miss, Auburn, Tennessee, That’s all I can think of right now” to SEC Country’s Zach Abolverdi. Stewart is a versatile DB and really can play all over.

With the Gators seemingly losing a lot of their current secondary to the NFL this past and upcoming season, he could see immediate playing time. He has set his official commitment date as August 17th. The Tigers are considered a non-factor by many in his choices. He is an in-state kid, though, so I expect LSU to not give up. All signals point to Stewart giving the Gators a verbal commitment on the 17th — which is also his 18th birthday.

4-Star Class Of 2017 S Hamsah Nasirildeen

Torrian Gray is making a hard push for 4-Star North Carolina DB recruit Hamsah Nasirildeen. According to the 247 Sports Crystal Ball, Nasirildeen’s front runner is Alabama. Hamsah also stated last week he feels “wanted” by the Florida coaching staff and that he is a top priority. He could also see some immediate playing time with the upcoming departure of Marcus Maye. No word on when we could see a commitment.

4-Star Class Of 2017 WR James Robinson

Robinson is another top WR target from the state of Florida like Jerry Jeudy. Unlike the recent Alabama commit, Robinson is expected to find himself wearing Orange and Blue this upcoming season. The 6-3 200 pound wideout from Lakeland, FL has some of the best hands and route running abilities in the nation. The Gator wide receiving depth chart is already stacked for the next 1-2 seasons, but adding another big name like Robinson could see them field one of the best corps in the nation.

The word is James Robinson is also getting ready to commit sooner than people thought. That is also backed up by the tweet below.

4-Star Class Of 2017 CB Marco Wilson

The man that is loved amongst Gator twitter and fans has finally given us a commitment date. Wilson is planning to announce his commitment this upcoming Monday.

Marco attends Football powerhouse American Heritage where recent Gator commit James Houston also attends. Wilson is a 6-0 CB with freakish athletic abilities and really resembles a tad slower Patrick Peterson. The Gators are known for having star-studded DBs and Marco could be next up. Wilson is expected to commit to Florida soon.

4-Star Class Of 2017 DT Fred Hansard

Florida’s expected defensive line class just keeps getting better and better. The Gators have already sealed commitments from 4-Star DE Zachary Carter and 3-Star DT’s Jordan Scott and Javier Edwards. The Gators are also frontrunners for 4-Star Jarez Parks and now 4-Star DT Fred Hansard.

Hansard is a big kid. He comes in at 6-3 324 pounds and seems to only be getting bigger. Fred is the 10th ranked DT in the country according to 247 Sports and 4th ranked player in the state of New Jersey. Hansard would be looking to add himself to a long list of great Gator defensive linemen like Jonathan Bullard, Carlos Dunlap, Jack Youngblood, Dante Fowler Jr. and more. According to 247 Sports Crystal Ball, Hansard’s top 2 schools are in-house Rutgers and the Florida Gators.

I think the Gators have a really good shot at everyone on this list, and possibly could receive commitments from everyone here. I wish these kids the best of luck regardless where they choose to attend.
