Unfortunately, there are some of us who are forced to work on Saturdays. Thus, we are denied the sweet pleasure of watching a full day of magical SEC Football. For those of you who are lucky enough to be off on Saturday, congratulations. You have a slate of great games to pick from.

Unfortunately, you probably have only one pair of eyeballs. (EDITOR’S NOTE: If you have more or less than one pair you probably should see a doctor). This means you can only watch one game at a time. Here at Southbound and Down, we’ve taken the liberty of deciding what the best games are. And now we will tell you which games to watch, when, and how, so that you might have the best Saturday possible. Enjoy.

Game 1: UMass at South Carolina, 11 pm CT, SEC Network

James Bowers did a wonderful preview of this game, which you can read here. This one should be a nice, competitive game. Hopefully South Carolina will ultimately prevail and avoid embarrassing the conference. Either way, once it’s done, switch to…

Game 2: Texas A&M at Alabama, 2:30 pm CT, CBS

This is definitely the biggest game of the day. Can Trevor Knight conjure some more magic and lead his team to a tough road win? Or will the Tide’s stingy defense keep him in check? I don’t know, but I’m eager to find out. Once this one ends switch to…

Game 3: Arkansas at Auburn, 5 pm CT, ESPN

This one should be fun. Auburn has one of the top defenses in the conference, if not the entire country. Meanwhile, Austin Allen leads an explosive Razorback offense. Auburn will probably squeak out a close win at home. But it will be worth watching. Then, stay on ESPN for…

Game 4: Ole Miss at LSU, 8 pm CT, ESPN

This should be yet another great SEC West showdown. Chad Kelly and the Ole Miss Rebels travel to Death Valley to take on a resurgent Tiger team. Can Coach O lead the home team to victory? Or will Hugh Freeze make it two in a row over the Bayou Bengals? Only time will tell.

And that’s it. Your long day of SEC Football will finally be over. But don’t despair. More high-octane SEC Football action is only a week away.
