3. Alabama at Auburn (Nov. 25)

I don’t need to explain to you the importance of the Iron Bowl. It’s the best rivalry in the SEC, and maybe all of college football. With several SEC teams playing in-state out-of-conference foes in their season finales, the Iron Bowl acts as the exclamation point on the SEC football regular season.

Alabama won last year’s matchup 30-12. And with all the hype there is around this rivalry, it’s actually been pretty one-sided in recent years. Alabama has won seven of the last nine games against Auburn. And many the games haven’t even been that entertaining. We all know about Kick Six game in 2013, but in the last nine contests, only three have been decided by 10 points or less.

Auburn might be the most difficult team to project in the entire country. If Jarrett Stidham is the savior to the program that many people think, the Tigers could challenge the Crimson Tide and could make the College Football Playoff. But if he’s not, the Tigers could easily be an 8-4 or 7-5 team in the loaded SEC West.
