SEC Football Blowout of the Week.

This one was a pretty easy pick, given what we’ve seen from these two teams this season.

Tennessee Volunteers at No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide (-36)

3:30 pm – Bryant-Denny Stadium, Tuscaloosa, Al.

Potential trap game for Alabama? Technically yes, but it’s been over 4,000 days since the Vols celebrated victory over the Tide, and that’s not changing this season.

Making Tennessee a 36-point underdog in a rivalry game isn’t usually something want to take, but in this case just go big – your money is safe. Alabama has been embarrassing opponents all season, and Tennessee will be no exception.

The Vols are just completely inept on both sides of the ball, but particularly on offense where they haven’t scored a touchdown since September 23 against UMass (a game which the Vols barely won).

Even if the Tide offense only puts out half of what they’re capable of doing, they’ll still cover a 36-point spread. The only surprising part of this game is the fact that Butch Jones is still coaching. If Tennessee scores a touchdown, consider this an upset.

Also a question here – how is Jalen Hurts not leading the universe in the Heisman watch right now? Completion percentage of 63.1, QB rating of 148.1, 8 passing TDs and 6 rushing TDs, capped with 1,583 all-purpose yards, and he can’t even make the list? C’mon man.
