Georgia basketball assigned a tutor

Georgia’s poor study habits finally caught up with the Bulldogs. The Dawgs watched U Mass jump out to a 24-7 lead, and Georgia could never catch up. The Dawgs trailed for 40 minutes.

Texas A&M played one game, beating Savannah State 113-66.

Vanderbilt suffers weekly from a tough basketball class load, and lost this week to number three ranked Arizona State. The Commodores have also lost to number 20 ranked Seton Hall, number 10 Southern California, Virginia, and Kansas State.

Number 20 ranked Tennessee continues to surprise, leading number seven ranked North Carolina in the final minute before losing 78 – 73.

Kentucky is experiencing its typical early season growing pains, but youth did not prevent the Wildcats from beating a good Virginia Tech team 93 – 86.
