National signing day part two has come and gone for Auburn football. Overall, it was pretty uneventful, which wasn’t necessarily a bad thing.

Auburn already had 23 players either signed or committed heading into national signing day. The Tigers finished with 24 total players signed and suffered no decommitments on signing day for the second year in a row.
This wasn’t Gus Malzahn’s highest ranked recruiting class but Auburn football fans shouldn’t pay that much attention to that.
The Tigers have a strong roster coming back next year, and they used this class to help plug some of the few holes they are going to have such as at running back, safety and cornerback as well as used this class to add quality depth.
Auburn football fans should also be excited to know that the Tigers have already hit the 2019-recruiting trail hard.
They have secured commitments from the top dual threat quarterback in the nation in Bo Nix and the best receiver in the state of Alabama in George Pickens.
They have also set themselves up in good position to land other top recruits such as five-star running back Noah Cain.
However, for now we are focused on the 2018 class and we’re going to be looking at which recruits have the chance to make the biggest impact this coming season.
