SEC Football will truly have their eyes on this contest. Reasons is that the Volunteers invaded Auburn and left with an upset win last week. Another reason is that this is the traditional Third Saturday in October matchup between the Volunteers and the Crimson Tide.
Tua Tagovailoa is hopeful to play after an apparent knee injury against Missouri. If not, Alabama could be one-dimensional at quarterback again. The Volunteer defense looks to be improving under Jeremy Pruitt which is another reason to watch this matchup.
Pruitt is another protegé of Nick Saban as he served as his defensive coordinator the last two years, and could be the first to beat his mentor and reignite this once great rivalry.
