Number three: 2015-2016 Alabama 45 Clemson 40

The Crimson Tide held off the Tigers in a close high scoring affair for the National title in Glendale Arizona. In this National championship game, Alabama had their toughest test yet and had to rely on the passing attack with some luck on their side as well. Special teams for the Crimson Tide executed an onside kick recovery and a kickoff return for a touchdown to help keep Alabama on top.

The Alabama Crimson Tide would rule another year over the college football world taking down a strong Clemson Tiger team. This game set up for a discussion of maybe Alabama is beatable and their could be a new champion each year and not as many Alabama championship seasons.
