The final Gator to score in double-figure points was Kevarrius Hayes with 14 points. Keyontae Johnson led the Gators in rebounds with six.
KeVaughn Allen added six points but only made 2-of-9 shots from the floor, which is unlike him.
As a whole, the Gators shot 48 percent compared to Vanderbilts 41.2 percent.
However, what helped the Gators the most is their three-point shooting and free throws. Florida made 42.1 percent from the arc. The Gators made 93.8 percent shooting 15-of-16 from the foul line
Vanderbilt shot 35.3 percent from the arc and 50 percent from the foul line.
Florida forced 14 turnovers and scored 17 points off of those. The Gators also scored 11 second-chance points and 21 points off of the bench.
The two teams tied 30-30 with rebounds. However, the Commodores had more offensive rebounds than the Gators. Vanderbilt had 11 offensive boards compared to the Gators seven.
Florida happened to execute better on those boards though scoring 11 second-chance points.
Vanderbilt never led the game and struggled on both sides of the ball. Florida was just the better team and it showed throughout the entire game.
Next up for Florida is a home matchup with Georgia on March 2. This game will be the second time these two teams faced off as the Gators took the first matchup 62-52 in Athens. Tip-off is set for 8:30 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.
