Similar to LSU previously, Ole Miss is among the SEC Football teams that have made the most roster additions through the transfer portal this offseason. Included in those additions as well are also two of the conference’s biggest names in Jaxson Dart and Zach Evans, the potential starting quarterback and running back duo for the Rebels in 2022.

Alongside those two however, the Rebels have also added numerous other playmakers on the offensive side of the ball, a group headlined by Mississippi State transfer wideout Malik Heath. SMU transfer running back Ulysses Bentley will also be a key playmaker out of the backfield for Ole Miss with Michael Trigg and Jordan Watkins doing the same in the passing game, while Mason Brooks and Jordan Rhodes could play key roles along the offensive front.

Each of the Rebels defensive additions could all see a significant amount of time in 2022 as well, a group headlined by defensive linemen JJ Pegues, Jared Ivey, and Khari Coleman. Central Michigan transfer Troy Brown will bring experience to the linebacker position, while Ladarius Tennison and Isheem Young will do the exact same in the secondary.
