Georgia Bulldogs

The defending national champions, Georgia is no stranger in recent years to entering the state of Alabama and landing top recruits over the Crimson Tide and Tigers, most-notably the five-star duo of George Pickens and Clay Webb back in 2019.

In fact, the Bulldogs current top ranked SEC Football 2023 recruiting class also holds two commitments from the state of Alabama in the state’s third five-star cornerback AJ Harris, as well as three-star offensive lineman RyQueze McElderry. Similar to Alabama previously, should Mitchell commit to the Bulldogs, the duo of the five-star and Harris would be unmatched by few across the country.

Looking ahead, Georgia will also likely be losing some key names in the secondary to the NFL at the conclusion of the 2022 season, most-notably cornerback Kelee Ringo. The competition for that spot will be wide open between names such as Harris and the Bulldogs two five-stars from the 2022 class in Daylen Everette and Jaheim Singletary, as well as Mitchell should he commit to Georgia.

Georgia already holds a commitment from one of the top players in the state of Alabama in the 2023 class. Could they add another in Mitchell?
