12. Georgia Bulldogs

Previous Ranking: 11

Dropping a spot from their preseason ranking to No. 12 is Georgia, as the Bulldogs now sit at 12-4 overall this season. Included in Georgia’s start to the season are series’ wins over teams such as Georgia Tech, Charleston Southern, Princeton, and Jacksonville State, while the Bulldogs also own an impressive two-game midweek home-and-home sweep over Georgia Southern.

Georgia also has only one midweek matchup set for this week, which will come at home Tuesday night against Wofford. The Bulldogs will then host South Carolina this weekend to open their SEC baseball schedule.

11. Kentucky Wildcats

Previous Ranking: 13

One of the most notable risers of this update so far is Kentucky, as the Wildcats jump two spots to No. 11 coming off their 14-2 overall start to the spring. As to what their season has looked like so far, Kentucky owns noteworthy series’ wins over the likes of Wright State, Indiana State, and Elon, as well as midweek wins over Murray State, Ohio, and others.

The Wildcats now have one of the biggest midweek matchups of any SEC baseball team Tuesday, as Kentucky will face Indiana. Kentucky will then host Mississippi State this weekend to open SEC play.
