2 SEC teams included in Top 6 for 5-star DL David Stone

David Stone has released a top six of Florida, Miami, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Texas A&M, and will be announcing his decision August 26. Stone is one of the top defensive linemen in the 2024 class, rated as a five-star prospect out of IMG Academy in Florida.

Alabama transfer RHP Luke Holman commits to LSU

LSU has added a transfer commitment from Alabama right-handed pitcher Luke Holman, which you can read more about here.

New York Mets RHP David Robertson traded to Miami Marlins

According to The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal, New York Mets right-handed pitcher David Robertson has been traded to the Miami Marlins. Robertson, a former 17th round pick out of Alabama in the 2006 MLB Draft, has made 40 relief appearances with the Mets so far this season, owning a 4-2 record with a 2.05 ERA, 14 saves, and a 48:13 K:BB ratio across 44 IP.

Chicago White Sox RHP Lance Lynn traded to Los Angeles Dodgers

According to USA Today’s Bob Nightengale, Chicago White Sox right-handed pitcher Lance Lynn has been traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Lynn, a former first round pick from the 2008 MLB Draft out of Ole Miss, has made 21 starts for the White Sox this season, owning a 6-9 record with a 6.47 ERA and 144:45 K:BB ratio across 119.2 IP.

Chicago White Sox RHP Kendall Graveman traded to Houston Astros

According to ESPN’s Jeff Passan, Chicago White Sox right-handed pitcher Kendall Graveman has been traded to the Houston Astros. Graveman, a former 2013 eighth round pick out of Mississippi State who previously played for the Astros in 2021, has made 45 relief appearances for the White Sox this season, owning a 3-4 record with a 3.48 ERA, eight saves, and a 42:20 K:BB ratio across 44 IP.
