8. LSU Tigers

Brian Kelly and this LSU team have had a tough going at it this season, but they are still 2-1 at the end of the day. It all started with a rough loss to USC and an alright bounce back over Nicholls. But then everyone checked the scores for the afternoon and saw South Carolina was up by double digits over LSU and feared the worst.
But they found a way to rebound and end up 2-1 after a difficult road game, and those are the wins that can give you the same punch in the mouth a loss would, without the major consequence.
LSU is still one of the better teams in this conference, but their inability to dominate raises some question marks about how this team will perform going forward. For now, they sit right in the middle of this conference and could be on upset alert more often than we thought before the season.

7. Oklahoma Sooners

Oklahoma has had a reversal of their Big 12 era where they consistently had one of the best offenses in the nation, but let up plenty defensively. Now, they have one of the best defenses in the country, but there are so many question marks with this offense.

They have dealt with a ton of injuries, but for a team like Oklahoma, you expect the depth at key skill positions and the offensive line to be able to combat that. They barely beat Houston, and let Tulane hang around for much longer than one would like. But at the end of the day, they sit at 3-0, and that is all you can ask for.

Their matchup against Tennessee will have a ton of eyeballs on it and is a game that can determine where the program will be going forward in the SEC.
