College Football 25 has announced it’s release date as July 19th. The anticipation around the game has been buzzing for months since the announcement of its summer release.

Ticklers that have been released slowly by Electronic Arts over the past several months have kept gamers anxious and craving for more. The dialogue on social media has been non-stop surrounding the game and the announcement that have been made.

Who will be Featured on the Cover of College Football 25?

One area of anticipation is who would be featured on the cover of the game. Whether it be Quinshon Judkins,            Arch Manning, Jalen Milroe, Carson Beck or any others, several names have been thrown out as possibilities over the past few months.

Well, the announcement is in. The three athletes on the cover of EA Sports College Football 25 will be Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers, Michigan running back Donovan Edwards and Colorado two-way standout Travis Hunter.

With these three names specifically, I think the EA Sports nailed it. They have representatives from three different conferences and three different schools.

Exploring the Trendsetting Change of Featuring Multiple Athletes on the Cover

It also is a change from the traditional model which has always featured only one player on the cover, which has been a pattern of EA Sports beyond the NCAA Football game. The one player on the cover concept has applied to the Madden series over the years as well. Barry Sanders was featured on the cover of the Madden 25 cover for 2024.

Some players previously featured were Florida Gators quarterback Tim Tebow, Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson and Alabama running back Mark Ingram.

With several different versions of the game being announced, fans were still left wondering when the game would actually be released. Well, that shoe has dropped. The only question for fans now is how will the gaming experience be. And we do not have to wait much longer.

So, let the EA College Football 25 countdown begin.
