SEC Baseball Week 6 Power Rankings; Kentucky and Georgia Rise, Vanderbilt Falls

We are now through six weeks of college baseball. Let's take a look at my week six power rankings of the Southeastern Conference.

After a week of upsets and sweeps, the SEC Baseball power rankings look very different than it did a week ago. Let's take a look at where each team falls in this weeks power rankings.

All records and rankings are as of March 24th. Top 25 rankings are from D1Baseball.

Number 14: Missouri Tigers

The Missouri Tigers are once again at the bottom of the power rankings after going 1-3 over the course of last week. Their record on the season now sits at 10-14, with a 1-5 conference record.

Last week, the Tigers faced off against Kansas in their midweek matchup, but lost in extras, 4-3. Over the weekend, Missouri hosted Kentucky and lost two out of three.

Number 13: #23 Auburn Tigers

The Auburn Tigers had a decent week where they went 2-2. Their overall record on the season sits at 15-8, with a 1-5 conference record.

Last week, the Tigers played South Alabama in their midweek matchup and won 2-1. Over the weekend, Auburn hosted Arkansas and lost two out of three.

Number 12: Ole Miss Rebels

The Ole Miss Rebels had a decent week, going 2-2. They currently have a record of 17-8, with a 3-3 conference record.

Last week, the Rebels got a solid win against Southern Mississippi that ended 8-3. Over the weekend, Ole Miss took on Tennessee and lost two out of three.

Number 11: #21 Mississippi State Bulldogs

The Mississippi State Bulldogs had a decent week where they went 2-2. They have an overall record of 17-8, with a 3-3 conference record.

Last week, the Bulldogs began their week with a big victory over Memphis,17-9. Over the weekend, Mississippi State took on Texas A&M and lost two out of three.

Number 10: #11 Alabama Crimson Tide

The Alabama Crimson Tide struggled this week by getting swept over the weekend. They went 1-3 last week, making their record 18-6, with a 2-4 conference record.

Last week, the Crimson Tide took on Alabama State in their midweek contest and won 15-7. Over the weekend, Alabama got swept by Georgia in three games.

Number 9: Georgia Bulldogs

The Georgia Bulldogs had a great week, where they went 4-0. This made their overall record 21-4, with a 3-3 conference record.

Last week, the Bulldogs got a mercy rule victory over Wofford, 18-6. Over the weekend, Georgia swept Alabama in three games.

Number 8: #3 Vanderbilt Commodores

The Vanderbilt Commodores had a tough week, going 1-3. This made their overall record 19-6, with a conference record of 3-3.

Last week, the Commodores began their week with a 3-1 win over Belmont. Over the weekend, Vanderbilt travelled to South Carolina and got swept in a three game series.

Number 7: #5 LSU Tigers

The LSU Tigers had a decent week where they went 2-2. Their overall record went to 19-6, with a 2-4 conference record.

Last week, the Tigers hosted Louisiana Tech for a midweek contest and won 11-1. Over the weekend, LSU hosted Florida and lost two out of three,

Number 6: Kentucky Wildcats

The Kentucky Wildcats continued their hot start to conference play by going 3-1 last week. This made their record improve to 20-4, with a 5-1 conference record.

Last week, the Wildcats began their week with a win over Evansville, 11-3. Over the weekend, Kentucky won two out of three against Missouri.

Number 5: #8 Tennessee Volunteers

The Tennessee Volunteers had a solid week, going 3-1, to make their record this season 21-4, with a 3-3 conference record.

Last week, the Volunteers began the week with a victory over Xavier that ended 10-2. Over the weekend, Tennessee won two games over Ole Miss in a three game series.

Number 4: South Carolina

The South Carolina Gamecocks had a big jump in this weeks power rankings by going 4-0. This made their record on the season 19-5, with a 4-2 conference record.

Last week, the Gamecocks got a big victory over USC Upstate in their midweek contest, 14-8. Over the week, South Carolina swept Vanderbilt in a three game series.

Number 3: #7 Texas A&M Aggies

The Texas A&M Aggies had a solid week where they went 3-1, making their overall record 21-3, with a 3-3 conference record.

Last week, the Aggies got a midweek victory over Prairie View A&M with a final score of 11-9. Over the weekend, Texas A&M won two out of three games against Mississippi State.

Number 2: #6 Florida Gators

The Florida Gators had a decent week where they went 2-2. This made their overall record 14-9, with a conference record of 4-2.

Last week, the Gators lost their midweek contest to Jacksonville, with a final score of 7-6. Over the weekend, Florida won two out of three against LSU.

Number 1: #1 Arkansas Razorbacks

The Arkansas Razorbacks remain the best team in the country by going 3-0 last week to make their overall record 19-3, with a 5-1 conference record.

Last week, the Razorbacks did not play a midweek game, but over the weekend they won two out of three against Auburn.
