While certain teams in the Southeastern Conference are planning on having two quarterbacks playing in their season openers (Florida, Georgia, Alabama) – the Auburn Tigers have their starting quarterback Jeremy Johnson and a plan to dominate the SEC West.
The Tigers also have a brand new defensive coordinator, previous Florida Gators head coach Will Muschamp, and are ready to take the SEC by storm in 2015.

The media predicted in July that Auburn will win the 2015 SEC Championship. The weird part about that was that Auburn didn’t get picked to win the SEC West – that honor went to their SEC West rival Alabama.
Whether the media is correct or not, the Auburn Tigers will have another solid season under coach Gus Malzahn and will ultimately finish second in the SEC West behind the Crimson Tide.
Offensively the Tigers will have to live up to the hype that was created for them during SEC Media Days this summer and throughout the postseason. As for the defense, Auburn expects a mixture of true freshmen to step up and play alongside veterans Jonathan Jones and Casanova McKinzy.
