Christian Kirk

Remember the name if you didn’t already know it.  Christian Kirk was ranked as the number 4 wide receiver in this year’s class according to 247sports.com.  This true freshman has yet to let down.  I’m not even sure he knows that he isn’t in high school any more.  His size won’t get confused with Mike Evans; he is listed as being 5’11”, 191 lbs, and sporting a 4.49 40 and has a 36″ vertical.  With that natural ability, and being a star in Kevin Sumlin’s offensive system, Kirk has produced some great numbers for a true freshman.  Through 5 games, Kirk has 32 receptions for 519 yards and 4 touchdowns.  The future is bright for this true freshman.  The schedule is set up for him to make a name for himself this year with games versus LSU, Alabama, and Ole Miss still on the schedule.  SEC West, you’ve been warned.
