SEC Football: Fans Pick the Bowls
Alright Southbound and Down Nation. Even though we have not been able to watch any SEC football, the bowl season has been with us for over a week now. But let’s be honest. We’ve been watching out of a since of duty. We’ve watched random games because we know in a few short weeks, there won’t be a random college game on anymore. There won’t be a story about a teenager rising up through poverty to make it do D-1 football, a hard working walk-on trying to win his senior bowl game on or a juggernaut trying to break records.
All we’ll have in the way of football is the NFL. I’ll be the first to admit that I love watching the NFL, but there is just something special about the college game that the NFL cannot match.
Now that my side tangent that took me away from my original point is out of the way, we can resume. The bowl season has been with us for over a week now. And we finally (FINALLY!) are going to get our first taste of SEC football bowl matchups. The clock is ticking now and we’ll be able to watch the first game December 29th at 8 PM CT. The game is no slouch, either.
#20 LSU will kickoff the SEC football bowl slate with a matchup against offensive juggernaut Texas Tech in the Advocare V100 Texas Bowl.

It should be a quality start to the SEC football bowl season indeed.
Then we have at least 9 more SEC bowl games to watch. Many SEC football fans hope there will be an 11th overall, with Alabama playing for the national championship. Many others hope to see Alabama fall flat and lose to Michigan State.
Personal feelings aside, though, it is time to make your opinion known. It is time to pick the winners of the SEC bowl matchups. Actually, you can absolutely use your own personal feelings towards picking these games. It is SEC football afterall.
