Ranked SEC Football Games

No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs (-2) at No. 10 Auburn Tigers
3:30 pm – Jordan-Hare Stadium, Auburn Al.

Over the next three weeks, Auburn can potentially cause a huge ruckus in the College Football Playoff rankings, and in the process put themselves in a position to win the SEC and make the playoffs, despite having two losses already.

The problem is, to make those fairy tale dreams come true, they’ll have to beat both Georgia AND Alabama, and then face Georgia again in the SEC Championship game.

More from SEC Football

It’s hard to say right now whether these two teams are destined for a rematch, but round one will undoubtedly go to Georgia and their running attack…because everyone knows Jake Fromm can’t pass, right?

Dawgs cover.

No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide (-13.5) at No. 16 Mississippi State Bulldogs
7:00 pm – Davis Wade Stadium, Starkville, Ms.

Alabama is coming off a brutal game against LSU, where they came out with a win, but lost several key defensive players. The Tide linebacker corps is running thin right now, and that could be a problem against Bulldogs quarterback Nick Fitzgerald.

Make no mistake, this is absolutely a potential upset on tap for Alabama, and Nick Saban is more than aware of that fact.

Emotions will run high in this game, and it could be the resume stamp Dan Mullen needs to land a big job at another school. Mullen, if nothing else, is a master motivator in situations like this.

I’ll catch hell for this one, but I’ll take Mississippi State to beat that two score spread, and even possibly win this game.
