12. LSU Tigers

Previous Ranking: 11

LSU drops a spot this week to No. 12, with the Tigers currently sitting at 12-7 overall, as well as 1-6 in the SEC. The Tigers simply continued to struggle this past week by going 0-2 with two home losses to Auburn on Wednesday, 67-49, as well as Tennessee on Saturday, 77-56.

Currently on a six-game SEC basketball losing streak dating back to January 3, LSU will now travel to Arkansas this Tuesday night for a showdown with the Razorbacks, who are the Tigers lone SEC win at the moment. LSU will then host Texas Tech on Saturday afternoon in the annual SEC/Big 12 Challenge.

11. Vanderbilt Commodores

Previous Ranking: 12

Vanderbilt rises a spot up to No. 11 this week, with the Commodores sitting at 10-9 overall at the moment, as well as 3-3 in SEC play. The Commodores split their SEC basketball action during the week by dropping a midweek contest to Alabama at home, 78-66, but rebounded nicely Saturday to get a big win at Georgia, 85-82.

Looking ahead however, the Commodores have a challenging week ahead, beginning Tuesday with a home matchup against Kentucky. Vanderbilt will then travel Saturday night to College Station for a showdown against Texas A&M.
