The first team to rise a spot in this week’s update is South Carolina (10-17 overall, 3-11 in SEC), with the Gamecocks jumping one spot to No. 12. Having won two of their last three games, the Gamecocks now enter one of the toughest weeks for any SEC basketball team, which begins with a home contest against Alabama on Wednesday. South Carolina will then travel to Knoxville on Saturday for a matchup against Tennessee.

11. Georgia Bulldogs

Georgia remains at the No. 11 spot this week, as the Bulldogs now own a 16-11 overall record, as well as a 6-8 mark in SEC play. As for what the Bulldogs last week included, Georgia began play Tuesday night with a 65-63 home win over LSU, but would fall on the road at Alabama on Saturday, 108-59.

The Bulldogs will now travel once again to begin this week, which comes Tuesday in Fayetteville against Arkansas. Georgia will then return home Saturday for a matchup against Missouri.
